• Currently leading the development and support for all B2b and EAI interfaces (on webMethods and Oracle Fusion) to guarantee the company’s Order-To-Cash processes run smoothly:

• Over 150 external EDI partners (via VAN, AS2, etc, with vendors, customers and banks) and XML partners (cXML, PIDX and custom XML);

• Migrated our webMethods platform from 4.6 to 6.0, and then to 7.0;

• Enterprise Applications Integration (JDEdwards, Oracle Financial, Khalix, DataStream 7i, IT2, Microsoft Project, etc)

• Upgrading Oracle Fusion from 10g to 11g

• Global Cylinder Tracking: using Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g as the middle tier, provide integration between tracking system (TrackAbout) and our ERP system (JDEdwards). The middle tier communicates with JDE through Business Service Server and talks to TrackAbout through its RESTful web services. I designed the architecture for the project: work flow, data flow, services communication interface, security, monitoring, error handling and etc.

• JDE/DataStream Integration on Oracle Fusion Middleware, March 2008 – present, Praxair Inc., Technical Lead and Software Architect. I collected business requirement and built the IT requirement document. This was our first implementation on Oracle Fusion platform for integration project. I designed the development framework, provided Fusion technical training to my group members and guided their development while taking 30% of the development myself. This project includes 25 integration interfaces between JDE and DataStream 7i. They are all running successfully and the business side is very happy with the result.

• HL7 Order Processing for PHS (Praxair Healthcare Services) and Ohio Metro Hospital, 2007, Praxair Inc., Technical Lead and Software Architect. Using webMethods 6.0, we provided a solution to receive orders from Ohio Metro Hospital in the format of HL7 via a secure channel (SFTP) and convert it to the PHS’ order format (Computer Unlimited). The solution provides receiving, validation, monitoring, reconciliation and reporting functions. The solution eliminated the original fax order process. It increased efficiency and accuracy of the ordering process, reduced human errors and provided full tracking capability to all the orders.

• Integration for Healthcare Order Web System (OrderPro) and Backend ERP System (Computer Unlimited), 2007, Praxair Inc., Technical Lead and Software Architect. Using webMethods 6.0 and Visual Studio .NET, I and other two team members wrote a set of programs to synchronize data between the front-end web application and the back-end ERP system. This solution solved the communication bottleneck issue between the front end web application and the backend ERP system and guaranteed the data integrity between the two ends. As a result, the claiming error rate is significantly reduced and reimbursement rate is greatly improved.

• Healthcare Customer Service Excellence project, April 2006 – present, Praxair Inc., Technical Lead and Software Architect. I was responsible to collect business requirement, build business /IT requirement document and a prototype. I also worked with the project manager and other stake holders (security, infrastructure, DBA and etc) to make sure the application conforms to the standards and meet regulations. As the software architect, I proposed the software architecture of the application. The architecture is proven to be a great success: the design has a very loosely coupled model and has excellent extensibility. When Praxair acquired more healthcare businesses (almost doubled the original healthcare sales), we were able to integrate the new businesses into the same backend system without modifying the architecture.

• Gentiva Order Digitization project for Praxair Healthcare April 2004 - present, Praxair Inc. Project manager and Software Architect. Worked with Topcoder to design and develop an interface that receives XML order from Gentiva and display the order on a web interface. The system is also integrated with the Healthcare backend system. Programming tool: Java/JSP(IntelliJ IDEA), WM Developer. Application server: Websphere 5.0; webMethods (V6.0) TN and IS are used to receive orders, parse them and store them in database.

• On-line E-Catalog front-end web page implementation and backend integration, 2003, Praxair Inc. Primary developer of the front-end web pages and the backend system integration for the Praxair e-Catalog system. Programming tool: Java/JSP(IBM Websphere Commerce Studio).

• Corporate Expense Web Application Single-Sign-On, 2003, Praxair Inc. Primary developer for the Single-Sign-On integration between company’s intranet and the Expense Report web application. Programming tool: Java/(JBuilder).
