Supervised and investigated cases within the Hudson County jurisdiction concerning illicit trafficking of controlled dangerous substances, sexual assault, serious child abuse, homicide, suspicious and unattended deaths and all criminal cases involving juveniles.

Managed all matters dealing with Property and Evidence to include its processing, storage and disposal.

Actively involved in various aspects of the investigations including crime scene processing, physical surveillance, preparation and execution of search and arrest warrants, wiretapping suspects and witness interrogations and interviews. Obtained descriptions of alleged perpetrators, collected and analyzed evidence and secured audio taped statements of relevant suspects and witnesses.

Worked closely with assistant prosecutors to prepare files for presentation to Grand Jury or trial and testified accordingly at these proceedings.

Served as a raid team leader, culminating in the arrests of violators of the narcotics and dangerous substance laws of the State of New Jersey. Supervised an eight man narcotics squad focused on physical surveillance, undercover operations and confidential informants, leading to the apprehension and arrests of "street level" violators.

Responsible for the accuracy, clarity and productivity of, as well as assuring that proper procedures were being undertaken and followed by civilian personnel with regard to the recording of pertinent Spanish conversations being logged and transcribed. Assisted fellow investigators operating in an undercover capacity through the utilization of eavesdropping devices by translating/interpreting the progression of undercover operations thereby providing investigators with crucial and vital insight in their supportive roles.
