Electrical Engineer. Electrical design and research engineer for the EX50 LCS Gun Mission Module (GMM)

• Attained several technical competencies, participated in rotational assignments, gained skills through formal training, and obtained DAWIA Level II certification to reach journeyman qualifications.

• Determining the necessary hardware electrical requirements required to improve the performance and designing work that goes on between the components in the GMM and confirming accurate configuration to the appropriate engineering development model (EDM), ensuring integration with the MK46 30MM Gun Weapon System and the operator console.

Developing electrical specification drawing details for electrical circuits, power modules, sensors, and electrical cable equipment.

• Coordinated 7 tests on LCS GMM components for EDM-2 testing.

Worked with test engineers to ensure that test events were conducted in the manor that was stated in the test plan. Utilized the various data acquisition systems and sensor/accuracy systems that were used in environmental/functionality live fire tests.

Prepared and presented test readiness reviews, hotwashes, and statement of works for various tests.

• Test and configuration management for the Universal Fuze Monitor Test System and MK34 MOD1 fuze setter unit. Responsible for running setter emulator code with LabVIEW.

• Aided in the Advanced RF Fuze Sensor trade study.

Developed baseline electromagnetic models with Maxwell 3D and supported the reconfigurable inductive coil positioner in order to generate electromagnetic interface models with MK 34 MOD 1 fuze setter.

Compiled current MOTS power supply candidates.
