Apartment Complex Renovation Project

Supervised exterior renovation of a large fully occupied apartment complex.

Responsibilities included scheduling, buy-out and permitting of project. Also ran

day-to-day operations, coordinated access to tenants’ units, maintained

construction schedule with the Property Manager and kept high safety standards

due to the facility being fully occupied. Other duties included maintaining wetlands buffer

within the complex.

2007 - 2008 Construction Supervisor

Unicon, Inc., Danvers, MA

Worked on office fit-outs at Harvard University which involved meeting extremely

tight timetables while maintaining budget constrictions. Projects involved spaces that were highly sensitive to client’s high quality requirements – low odor and noise impact and safety and cleanliness issues due to spaces being occupied at time of construction.

2004 – 2007 Construction Supervisor

Involved in large commercial projects. Supervised installation of

exterior envelopes of buildings in several projects; responsible for meeting deadlines; worked with other supervisors in many phases of construction.

2001 - 2004 Construction Supervisor

Worked on large commercial buildings, which ranged from 3 to 6 stories.

Dealt with day-to-day operations, which included dealing with subcontractors and

scheduling of manpower and materials. Involved in buy-out process, dealt with local

building department officials and maintained good communications with project managers,

architects, engineers and clients to keep them advised of progress. Involved in close-out

of projects to obtain occupancy permits.

1997 - 2001 Construction Supervisor

Worked on various renovation/restoration projects in Boston. Worked as supervisor

in large (5 story) restoration/stabilization project in Boston (Minot Hall). Responsibilities

included supervising subcontractors, maintaining timetable and project deadline.
