Certification Test Engineer testing, validating & certifying software packages built using BMC Marimba to be error
free for Windows, Unix & Linux operating systems. Wrote & verified the installation process for HPUX & Exchange
2010. After one year, promoted to Software Migration & Distribution Engineer team. New position included
the creation of installation packages; created MSI packages for Windows servers & Desktops using VBScript &
DOS batch for an ordered process, using ORCA to edit the MSI database. On Unix & Linux created packages by
pushing the software to designated directories with correct permissions & scripted the installation process using
Bash. Built VMWARE 4.02 ESXi servers with images for Windows & Linux operating systems to validation &
testing of packages created. Provided ”24 by 7” back line support for servers & desktop handling between “600
to 800” tickets a month & documenting the process in the HP Ticket Database. Created reports using SQL queries
against the Marimba Data Base.
