I am actively seeking a Senior Interior Designer leadership position in an established firm known for design excellence and exceptional service allowing me to supervise both large and small scale projects with accuracy, detail and enthusiasm.

Extensive background in both new construction and renovation projects. Process Management

• Define program requirements and establish interior design parameters based on client requirements.

• Generate and develop overall interior design concepts; formulate design presentation strategies and make presentations.

• Manage interior design process for entire project consistent with project’s program, budget and time constraints.

• Direct the work of other interior designers and technical staff to ensure design reflects client interest while adhering to

construction codes.

• Manage project budgets and schedules related to interior design team efforts.

• Participate in the review of bids and contract negotiations to ensure compliance with design intent.

Relationship Management

• Manage client interactions and decisions related to interior design.

• Attend project meetings and inspect sites for verification of design intent during project installations.

• Coordination with MEP engineers, A/V consultants, acoustical and structural engineers and partnering architects

and lighting designers.

• Excellent client leadership and marketing/presentation skills.

Directed multiple renovation projects for Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc. Oversaw miscellaneous tenant improvement services for mixed type projects in Manhattan. Handled all project phases. Project sizes from 500 sf to 120,000 sf. Mentored intermediate and junior level staff.

Senior Interior Design Leader

Led and managed interiors group. Performed programming and space planning studies. Orchestrated the design and documentation of Corporate/Commercial, Civic, Pharmaceutical and Hospitality projects from initial client contact through move-in.
