Manager, Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) 2007-2009
Responsible for developing EHS programs; creating and managing teams of managers and 285 employees to correct problems; including hazardous waste; investigating accidents and “near misses” throughout the plant; and training all employees in EHS.
· Restructured corporate EHS program to meet the needs of facility and established for the first time a culture of employee empowerment to correct unsafe acts within plant. Reduced TRCR by 1.6%
