-Student Project for implementing PBS(permission based sending) on N2-simulator Spring 2010 Language: C++ Programming
The project was about the NSIS Signaling Layer protocol(NSLP) for network traffic authorization in the Internet, the Permission-Based Sending (PBS) NSLP. This NSLP aims to prevent Denial-of-Service (DoS) attacks and other forms of unauthorized traffic. In this project, I was working with Ph.D student at Columbia University. I was writing not just plain TCL codes for simulation on N2-2(Object-oriented; Discrete event driven network simulator; Written in C++/OTcl), But also created header files and C++ codes for implementation of new protocol, which then must be compatible with built-in C++ source of n2-simulator.
