Summary  Over 13 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, in a supervisory position. We practiced the principals of lean production including; Teamwork, communication, efficient use of resources, elimination of waste and continuous improvement.

 Assist in new product transfer from California to Texas. New tool location and head count for cost effective and productive start up.

 Utilize efficiency tools to calculate and track Utilization, OEE, and Constraint areas.

 Supervise up to 44 direct reports, plus directing engineering and maintenance support.

 Lead continuous improvement teams to enhance efficiency and reduce mistakes in the factory

o Implant team: coordinated team and achieved better efficiency on implanter’s due to more thorough Maintenance P.M.’s.

o Films: Lowered test wafer usage by charting and providing data to Engineering staff to save money and superfluous testing.

o Added Lead Production Operator to new area to enhance quality and productivity.

o Improved first pass yield by implementing Teflon rod to loosen stuck 4” wafers in spin rinse dryers

o Lead Continuous Improvement Team to a 30% reduction in mis-process scrap by buddy checks in problem areas and consistent spot checks by the Lead and the supervisor

 Implement training and cross training for technicians in all areas of the factory with annual testing and certifications to insure quality and adherence to specifications.

 Coordinate daily manufacturing strategy for Photo, Etch, Diffusion, Films, Implant and Metals production areas.

 Act on behalf of Production Manager in his absence on night shift.

 Create production plans for tools to ensure 100% utilization.

 Delegate daily objectives to Lead Production Operators.

 Conduct daily meetings.

o Communicate daily activities commitment.

o Present current and future constraints to production.

o Forecast and report on status of weekly fab to test shipments.

 Lead passdown meetings between incoming and outgoing shifts.

 Consistently interact with maintenance and engineering to resolve current and potential issues. Direct support staff to areas of immediate need by prioritizing maintenance and engineering down time system and verbal direction.

 Perform quarterly and semi-annual performance reviews.

 Interviewing and selecting potential candidates for employment.

 Provide guidance and training to personnel to help them achieve their career goals.

 Approve and submit timecards for all direct reports.

 Schedule breaks and lunches to ensure full coverage for all too sets.
