Alofs Manuf. / Target:

• Generated new sales within General Motors.

• Streamlined projects from concept thru completion.

• Eliminated unnecessary operations in processes saving $350,000.

• Supervised the tool room. Had 6 people under my supervision.

Haworth:

• Engineer in charge of the tool room and press room. Had 16 people under my supervision.

• Worked with outside tool shops to eliminate multiple tools and set ups by putting multiple parts in one die with minimal change over saving Haworth over $450,000.

• Improved process flow in the plant to reduce down time by also going to Kan Ban method.

• Implemented Just In Time process.

• Increased capacity in presses allowing us to bring in out sourced work. Cost savings of over $500,000.

• Implemented visual charts and grafts at work stations to show out put and down time which increase up time and production.

• Always looking for cost saving ideas.

• Reduced our tooling cost by over $400,000 in one year.

• Ran various types of software from planning to cost estimating and data storage.

• Often worked on projects in Panels plant and the wood plant.

Ridgeview Industries:

• Developed overseas accounts with suppliers that saved Ridgeview up to 45% on tooling cost resulting in savings cost of over $350,000.

• Also worked with plastic parts that went in our stampings. Mostly ABS material.

• During the over seas adventures I also help land new customers like Thyssen Krupp Presta.

• Worked with the tool room to improve on Preventive Maintenance which increased our run times and reduce down time on our tools.

• Chased all off shore tools locally and overseas. Europe.

• Was also in charge of all my own gages from design thru build.

Source Tech:

• Hired to build the stamping side of the company which doubled in size and sales in 2 years.

• Developed overseas accounts and suppliers saving our customers up to 50% in tooling cost.

• Diversified our tooling sources into China, South Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong.

• Overseen sales and engineering along with working with the plastic side of the business.

Gruber Tool and Die:

• Expanded the company’s customer base into the appliance, medical, furniture and aerospace fields.

• In 17 months I have landed Gruber 6 new customers and approximately 1 million in new sales.

• While selling for Gruber I also started my own business offering program management or chasing tooling for different customers all over the US and overseas.

• This has been a very interesting job in a difficult time due to the current economy.

Great Lakes Metal Stamping:

• Hired to build customer base and generate sales.

• In the first three months I have brought many opportunities to GLMS by quoting new projects.

• I have landed 7 new customers in the 9 months I have been with GLMS in a difficult economy.

• Have quoted large and small programs along with numerous take over opportunities.

• I have generated over 38 million dollars in new customer quotes in my 1st year as a salesman.
