- Completed a volunteer internship position at a Shambhala meditation center in south central France. While responsibilities ranged from food preparation and garden maintenance, permanent position was as the Assistant Financial Officer of the main office, and as assistant to the Fundraising Director. The center welcomes participants from all over the world, welcoming more than 500 individuals during the summer months for various programs in mindfulness and meditation.
Sept. 2007- Dec. 2008 Semperviva Yoga and Supplements, Vancouver BC
- Held Store Manager position, responsible for ordering and stock levels of all store merchandise, customer education within the realm of natural heath and healing, market appraisal, and budget maintenance. The store was the hub for a group of yoga studios within the city, so much of daily routine also centered around customer service and attention to yoga practitioners. Interaction was constant with the Integrative Clinic next door regarding their practices and co-marketing opportunities, and I was able to gain significant exposure to the realms of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda and Naturopathy through the guidance of their practitioners. Coached individual clients through chronic and acute illnesses.

-Hired as a freelance animator for an online games site, responsible for designing and fabricating educational and entertaining children’s animation using Adobe Flash.
MAC Cosmetics, Makeup Artist
-Employed for a year and a half before beginning freelance work, working mostly in weddings, fashion and some television. Maintained clientele and marketed myself independently for two years following employment at MAC.
Boardwalk Management, Landscaping Manager
-Responsible for installation and maintenance of flower gardens for roughly 15 individual rental community properties.
Temple Restaurant, Bar Manager
-Duties included inventory and menu development/management, print marketing for the bar, and hosting large parties for weddings, film wrap parties and celebrations. Bartending encouraged awareness and social skills with regards to interactions with a spectrum of different people. Temple was named one of the ten best new Canadian Restaurants while I was employed.
