Formerly Exxon, Engro Fertilizers Limited is a fully owned subsidiary of

Engro Corp, one of the biggest corporations in Pakistan. Engro's

diversified business includes fertilizers, polymers, power generation,

chemical storage terminals, foods & industrial automation.

SENIOR COORDINATION ENGINEER- Operations (July 2012 To Date)

Taking care of E-Gas project as Senior Commissioning Engineer. My Major

responsibilities

. Development of Precommissioning/ Commissioning & Start up Procedure of

Ammonia Plant

. Training of Operations team on the new procedures.

. Butt listing and field verifications of P&IDs for the modification

project.

. Liaising and coordinating with other disciplines to ensure deliverables

are produced to meet deadlines.

. Ensuring the timely handover to the operations of fully commissioned

plant.

. Co-ordinate the carrying out of modifications/repairs arising during

commissioning activities.

. Develop integration plans of major projects with existing facilities.

COORDINATION ENGINEER (June 2011 To June 2012)

My Major responsibilities in the current role are listed below

. Lead a team of 25 personnel in safe, smooth and reliable plant operation.

. Responsible and accountable for HSE performance of self and the reporting

team.

. Compliance of HSE audits for DuPont and British Safety Council in day to

day activities.

COMMISSIONING & START UP ENGINEER (June 2008 to May 2011)

Engro's expansion project for installation of an Ammonia-Urea complex at

the cost of US$ 1.1 Billion was the largest private sector investment in

the history of Pakistan. I was assigned with this project as commissioning

and startup Engineer for Ammonia Plant since ground breaking activities.

Major assignments are detailed below.

. Participate in design safety reviews and system field audits.

. Participated in Catalyst Loading and Catalyst reduction at Ammonia Plant

reactors.

. Refractory dry out of Primary and Secondary reformer.

. Precommissioning of piping and vessels

. Alkali wash of CO2 removal section & waste heat boilers

. Commissioning, Start up and Operation of Turbo trains including surge

mapping.

. Precommissioning of control systems including hot loop & logic testing,

motor solo runs.

. Development / updation of pre-commissioning & commissioning activity bar-

chart.

. Prioritizing engineering & construction activities for timely completion

of job scope.

. Oversee project execution in the field and ensure adherence to plant

safety requirements.

. Control of engineering document and records management for all project
