Junior Site Engineer

• Worked for 5 months as a Junior Site Engineer as part of my Professional Experience Programme.

• Worked on site on a road improvements scheme in North London with Skanska UK, valued at 44 million USD

• Primary area of work was setting out using the Total Station and Dumpy Level to give the correct position and level.

Coffey Construction, Galway, Ireland July 2011 – Present

Senior Site Engineer

• Currently working as a Senior Site Engineer for Coffey Construction Ltd

• I have worked on three separate jobs for Coffey Construction, taking the role as senior site engineer on all three jobs.

• Completed the construction of a new road in Co. Galway, valued at 14 million USD, involving the installation of pre cast culverts, precast portal frames and all underground services.

• Completed a job in Tuam involving the design and construction of a large car park for a supermarket, taking 2 months to design and build, valued at 7 million USD.

• I then worked on a large job in Co. Limerick, which involved a the improvement of a major junction off the motorway outside the city.

• The job was valued at 20 million USD and involved the construction of a new roundabout and a slip lane off the motorway to improve traffic.

• Currently preparing to start my fourth job with the company, which is the construction of a new reservoir, valued at 22 million USD.
