Designed a UWB Simulation Reference System
Designed a PPM-TH-UWB physical layer simulation reference system for a short distance indoor impulse radio communication. Calculated the BER for different Receiver schemes such as IRAKE, PRAKE and SRAKE.
Designed a Channel Equalizer using Matlab
Designed a channel equalizer using MLSE (Viterbi Algorithm) for a multi-path channel with BPSK modulation. Performance analysis graphs were plotted in the presence and absence of a block coding scheme for different timing errors.

Designed a Mobile Wireless User Terminal
Designed a mobile wireless user terminal for a data channel subjected to Rician Flat Fading using Block Phase Estimation algorithm. Designed a demodulator for this fading channel with QPSK modulation.
Designed a Data Communications Network
Designed a network that enables transmission of data and voice between the universities in two geographical locations, the DFW metroplex and selected schools in INDIA. Designed the topology of a network, providing connections to each campus by assuming infinite number of end users/nodes.

Presented a paper on IPTV that explains basic architecture, operation, network distribution technologies such as ATM over SONET, IP over MPLS, Metro Ethernet, quality of service and applications such as Video on Demand (VOD).
Research Project on Comparison of H.264 and VP6
Presented a Research Paper on H.264 and VP6 Codecs, which compares PSNR, SSIM and MSE for different bitrates using Visual Studio. H.264 is implemented by using JM software.
