Rewinder Operator
Responsible for slitting and rewinding of Parent rolls into finished rolls, setting up for the rewinder machines, inspecting product being rewinded for defects on registration, color matching, size and printing errors in general, palletizing finished product for distribution department.
Also when time was allowed worked as a press operator’s helper, assisting with change-overs cleaning pans and hoses, removing printing plates cylinders and mounting plates, replacing Dr. Blades, training for a limited time on a Marc Andy flexo press.

Responsible for all aspects of running a 6 color press. Printed designs on napkins to customers’ specifications. Duties included mixing inks to desired colors, setting up for the press to run the required job, changing large rolls of napkin material, and packing napkins in boxes. Also responsible to do quality checks on my work, ensuring that the napkins were meeting the expectations of the customer.
