CAREER HISTORY
Fidelity Investments, 1996 to 2009. A multi-billion dollar financial services organization.
- Director, Project Manager, 2006 to 2009. Managed company-wide data generation, budget and project management, change management, presentation, performance measurement and strategic planning. Ensured systems performed to metrics. Spearheaded completion of technical projects on time and under budget.
- Director Project Management, Mainframe Fidelity Technology Group, 2003 to 2006. Promoted to review, analyze and evaluate complete portfolio of outstanding projects among group and report quantitative metrics to senior leadership. Performed needs assessment, procedure development and business analysis.
- Director, Technical Production, 2000 to 2003. Directed seven-member production support team and six member mainframe network support team to ensure maintenance and support of several customer facing software products. Also replaced existing critical financial data system with zero data loss.
- Project Manager, Y2K Mainframe Compatibility, 1998 to 2000. Directed integrity management of all mainframe applications during transition to Y2K utilizing 20-person software engineering team. Brought Y2K compliance project to fruition on time while encountering zero interruptions or outages to business flow.
- Project Manager, Mainframe Software Installation, 1996 to 1998. Created and executed project planning for all software installations and upgrades while managing staff of 10 software engineers. Impacted company bottom-line and aided in client relations efforts through successful deployment with minimal downtime.
