My World Portal

As a part of our endeavor to automate our processes we have created the 'My WORLD’ portal, which is a SSO (Single sign on) based application.

GM Portal is a House Intranet WebPages just like Employees can go through Daily activities like Mail Checking, Leave balance, Company Circular, Chill Pill, Stock reports and many more which is a user friendly employee application.

Employees can log into the portal by entering their Gyanmandir Username and Password on the homepage of the My World portal.

In case the employee wants to view the existing GM Intranet portal, a link has been placed on the top right hand side corner of the Landing page of My World, as highlighted above.

The area below the Login section consists of 5 useful links. These are:

• Click here to visit My World without login - This link enables the user to visit My World, without a sign in. However, only select applications can viewed through this link, as the applications that require a Sign in will be locked from view.

• My World Access Request - The link is meant for those employees who need access to any particular information widget on any of the below mentioned dashboards. The employee needs to login to the form that appears next and fill up the required details. On submission, the request is sent to the employee’s HOD for his approval. Once approved, the employee will be able to access the concerned information widget.

• Set / Reset My World password - The third link is meant enable employees to Set / Reset their Gyanmandir Password. Click on the link and follow the steps to set or reset your password.

• For support, mail at: *******.*******@***********.*** - Incase any individual or team needs to contact the Support team for any updates or support related activities.

• Like It / Needs Improvement - A Click on either of the 2 buttons will increment the value displayed next to it, indicating the number of employees who have liked this new concept and those who think we can do better.

Reliance IPTV Welcome Kit Portal.

Functional View: IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) is a system where a digital television service is delivered using Internet Protocol over a network infrastructure, that is, a broadband connection. IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) delivers television programming to households via a broadband connection using Internet protocols. It requires a subscription and IPTV set-top box.

Reliance shall adopt a Channel partner Based model for provisioning of IPTV services to its Subscribers. This channel partner shall sell the services through the services through welcome kit process. Channel partner shall buy IPTV welcome kit from Reliance. This welcome kit would be generated through existing Voucher management system. The welcome kit consists of Subscribers ID. Scratch Card and Welcome letter with promotional information .Each Welcome kit would be tagged with WKSN Number.

The Portal shall maintain the Channel partner Master; portal shall extract the Welcome Kit data from VOMs after sale posting in SAP, Welcome Kit shall be mapped to the channel partner.

1. Portal generates Subscriber ID.

2. CAF Number series has been reserved for the Welcome Kit portal.

3. The Portal also maintains RTS master for each GISUID and its address.

4. The Portal shall maintain CPE master where in the Vendor data will be loaded against each CPE Code.

Administration Portal Specification

It is a centralized Administration module with distributed management features (Server-Client Architecture). Should have Full role/responsibility/department based Administrator defined security and data / database management features – Architecture of the Administration module should be granular to provide group/user level permissions on a need to know basis (right customer information to the right people),Should have the ability to distribute administrative functions. Should support multi tasking.

My responsibility was to perform Data Migration testing. Data migrated from SQL Database to be tested for conformity. Data needs to be retrieved by writing SQL queries on Server, and then tested for conformity. Defects need to be reported. Examples of data retrieved, and verified include customer account details, and credit details.

IPTV Subscription.(EDR Scheduler)

Service collections enable operators to define which services to present to subscribers when they are authorized to view content and when they are not (up sell condition).Service Collections are created through SMT which are mapped to a centralized channel map. These service collections are used as channels. Service Collections include individual services (Live TV services).

Reliance will create and provide LIVE Channel Offers for its IPTV subscribers. Offer created will be designed for displaying on TV and work with simple navigation with remote keys, to browse to through all the channels in the group.

Offer created will be assigned to the particular geographical location. Subscribers residing in the area can subscribe that offer. It is the process for Installing and configuring Subscription EDR Scheduler- Windows service.

In production environment, we have deployed the Subscription EDR Scheduler for dispatching the Subscription EDRs to BillG for final EDR generation.

Bugs fixed in this build.

1. Scheduler automatically creates multiple entries for a Single subscriber has been fixed.

Active News scheduler is a solution provided to DTH team which enables the streaming of H.264 encoded video on intranet in PAL format. These streams are used to show the Active News application with multiple PIP windows.

DTH scheduler is designed for multitasking. It checks for new files coming in to the Vendor specific folder. The scheduler then copies the new files in to the application specific folders and starts streaming.

Scheduling is a key concept in multitasking and multi processing application design. It refers to the way processes are designed according to priorities in a priority queue.

And an element to the queue with an associated priority removes the element from the queue that has highest priority and returns it.

Testing a mobile application or game is mandatory to ensure, there is no crash or inconvenience for players. To test a game ,it is not enough to do it on emulators and not all devices have emulators .Testing a game on Real devices is not possible for all developer. Payroll Accounting Software

Functional View:

The Payroll processes that a typical HR/Accounts dept. The software has incorporated all the forms which the Government of India has made compulsory for the Indian firms to adopt with respect to their employees.

The Payroll software starts off from formation of a Company and the branch offices. Then it inputs the Employee related information and in which group company/department he is recruited. Just assign the employee a salary structure and you are ready to generate and manage payroll processes with respect to that employee. Also the end user has the flexibility to create his own salary structures and salary formulae.

The pay slip is generated after the attendance is marked for that month. ESIC and PF challans are available at the convenience of a mouse click. The payroll software also manages the Company Holidays.

All the reports related to company, employee, attendance/leave, payroll, Government of India forms (Forms 1, 3, 5, 6, 10, 12, 19, etc) are generated. The MIS (Management Information Reports) are also generated by the software which gives the Management a clear picture about the Payroll and Attendance of the Employees.
