Opportunity within your organization

To whom it may concern:

I am flexible and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. With my prior employers I was faced with unexpected occurrences and managed schedules to assure any problem was solved. I have the ability to coordinate several major activities at once, while analyzing and resolving specific problems and understand the design of major utilities, grading plans, architectural site plans, and other construction improvement drawings.

I often work with owners, engineers, architects, and others who are involved in the construction process. I am able to establish a good working relationship with many different people, including owners, designers, and local public agencies. Along with the knowledge of design in site plans, roads, and other projects, I have provided special inspections for a wide variety of construction projects, including the building of all types of residential, commercial, highways and Airport runways projects.

Of particular note for you and the members of your team as you consider my skills are my strong accomplishments in combining field knowledge with technical skills to achieve improved operating efficiency for the group as a whole. After nearly 10 years, I have a good understanding of every aspect of site design, grading and infrastructure. My last employer was very happy with my performance, but I was let go do to the troubling economy, so I am eager to consider new challenges.

I am very interested to discuss possible opportunities within your organization. I think my background and experiences enable me to quickly adapt. My resume is enclosed for your review.

Thank you for your attention to these materials. I certainly look forward to exploring this further.

Very truly yours,

Jeremy Barnes
