Counseling Intern Process Therapy Institute, Los Gatos, CA 2008 – 2010
• As a counseling intern, I worked with a culturally diverse range of clients, including teenagers, families, and children, using art therapy, process therapy model, cognitive therapy, and other psychotherapeutic approaches. The responsibilities included interview intakes and assessments, short and long-term therapy with the emphasis on stress-reduction, grief counseling, and psycho-education. As a part of the internship, I participated in a one-way mirror training program, receiving supervision during the sessions with my clients.
Counseling Intern ACT for Mental Health, San Jose, CA 2006 – 2007
• As a counseling intern, I was involved in all stages of the community counseling agency services, including interview intakes, assessments, individual and group counseling, and administrative work. Services were provided to a culturally diverse clientele, including the court mandated clients for DV violations and anger management, and the clients with dual diagnosis. As a part of the training, I co-led the Women on Probation Support Group for women with dual diagnosis. The individual work included counseling adults, children, and families, using art therapy, cognitive therapy, psycho-education, somatic therapy, and other modalities.

Web Manager

Consultant/Technology Expert
• Worked as a project manager/technology expert on multi-level web projects for software firms in the San Francisco Bay Area. Recent projects include:
ThoughtMatrix (08/20010 – 12/2010) -- upgraded a complex web site functionality from CF 4 to CF FuseBox, and integrated code with the new design provided by the client. Lead development efforts on the project, including ongoing client support, and requirements analysis.
Internet Media (01/04 – 01/07) maintained and developed new features for the company’s website, customized maps engine written in ASP for the use with Oracle application, wrote stored procedures and designed new database;
Adobe (10/04 –05/05) upgraded a CF 4.1/Netscape/Oracle based application to CF MX/Apache/Oracle; managed the project from the beginning to the end;
University of California Santa Cruz (6/03-12/03)- built new features in CF/FuseBox for UC Gateways that supports students in managing their course load. Worked on database (Oracle) design and extensive Pl/SQL stored procedures writing.
