Design and Development Engineer, Mahindra (India’s largest SUV manufacturer): 2007-2009
Design: (Designing, 3D Modeling, Drafting & FEA Analysis of power train components)
• Solely responsible for the entire design and development of the power train components for 125kVA genset and 100HP Earthmoving Equipment, including Emission certification, 2009.
• Successfully completed the design of transmission plates, links, pipes & clamps for Shangai Diesel engine - SC9D245D for energy applications, 2008.
Development: (Mechanical testing and validation, Project coordination, PLM, PDM)
• Successfully completed projects on cost reduction of assembly components (achieved 4% reduction on consecutive years), with quality assurance under Six sigma at MUSA, TX, 2009.
• Mechanical development with simulation analysis, testing and validation of assembly components, combustion development of diesel engines for Earth moving equipments, Tractors and Power generators.
• Experienced in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Product Database Management (PDM).
• Provided technical support in customer service and customer proposed design changes. Serves as department liaison coordinating projects and communicating design changes with manufacturing.
