• Responsible for managing 15+ developers, domestic and international, internal and remote, full time and contractors. The team was fully responsible for developing all conversion programs and scripts to convert existing clients and new clients to new internally developed billing system, using Java, PL/SQL and system Z.
• Responsible for detailed design, coding, unit testing, and implementation of new programs and enhancements.
• Ensured team compliance with all company development guidelines, to include: coding, code reviews, testing and process management
• Provided all detailed analysis and functional requirements for relevant projects.
• Provide 24/7 on-call Product support
• Interfaced with Project Management and Clients to review/update Conversion process and schedule.
• Responsible for developing new System EDI’s to corporate partners using System Z, Java and XML.
• Developed a B2B API using System Z, Java, and XML for managing web-enabled cell phones between the billing system an Oracle Database and a third party. Providing real-time usage for our clients customers, which was previously only available through calling the client and wasn’t current.
• Developed a Host-to-Host provisioning interface using System Z for managing pagers, between the billing system and a third party. Giving the client direct access for managing their devices and alleviated having to access a separate system to maintain those devices.
