Human Resources ~

Please review the attached resume for the position of a Technician.

As you will see by the enclosed resume, I have over ten years of experience in the customer service, semiconductor, maintenance, electrical and construction fields. The following is a summary of the highlights of my occupational background:

Working with NCR (National Cash Register) as a Level 2 Electrical Engineer Technician, I have broadened my range of electric/mechanical skills. I have successfully attended fast lane self checkout training in which over the two week course, I learned to identify the various types and differences between all pertaining pc controlled work stations as well as all of the coordinating peripherals that operate entire systems. I have honed in on my ATM skills and have broadened my knowledge by learning different systems with different manufactures. While sustaining an excellent work history in a highly trusted position, I have remained to keep my work ethics at a level that is beneath no other.

As an Electrical Engineer Technician, I have successfully learned the roll of a first line technician within Diebold Inc. I have been an excellent and dependable resource for team members. Throughout my career with Diebold, I have had opportunities to train with experienced technicians on ATM’s, VAT’s, Locks, Audio and Video equipment. Working in a remote region, I have had the responsibilities of training with other technicians in and away from my assigned area. At manager’s requests, I have been given projects that have been successfully completed. I have scheduled meetings for teams and other technicians. I look forward in broadening my experience as a Diebold employee to have a long and successful career.

As a Lead Semiconductor Technician and trainer, my responsibilities have involved working closely with engineering in the qualifications of the processes and equipment used in the manufacturing of semiconductor devices. My duties also include monitoring production flow and processes within the manufacturing areas while at the same time maintaining a safe and positive environment. I pioneered the establishment of a new documented W.I.P. (Work in Progress) flow movement throughout all areas to decrease cycle time and improve process flow. By following written work instructions and verbal work orders, these tasks are always met. Management frequently looked to me to make sure that new technicians are trained in a timely, professional, and thorough manner. I was also responsible for the preventative maintenance and upgrades on all semiconductor tools in my area.

During my employment in construction I was given the responsibility to run, coordinate and manage many different projects and tasks on the construction site. I assisted in the design and building of many structural buildings (room additions, concrete slabs, walls, and patios). My skills include the use of a wide variety of hand and power tools.

I have worked in the entertainment industry as well. Transportation is one of the most important divisions of the entertainment business. My duties have included the driving and transporting of 40 ft make up, wardrobe, dressing room, and industrial generator trailers. Once the trailers have been delivered, I am responsible for the set up and positioning of the equipment.

In the listed work experiences above, safety comes first in any working environment. I am currently certified in CPR and First Aid and an active member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT). This team is responsible for the safety of the people and property at the industrial work site during a hazardous event.

Furthermore, I am accustomed to working long hours in a fast-paced technical environment. I believe I have the necessary skills to make a significant contribution to your CSE team and I appreciate your time in reviewing my credentials.

Sincerely,

Brian T. Engels
