Responsibilities: Design Industrial Conveyor Driers for drying process of food products, nonwoven materials, and medical capsule while implementing government and engineer standards, Using Pro/E, or AutoCAD, I design stainless steel metal fabrication items, carbon metal fabrication items, sheet metal enclosures and ductwork for use in industrial drier assemblies. Use of injection molding design was min. due to the overhead expenses. These driers are defined as electro-mechanical assemblies. Designing sprocket, bedplates, power train and durable items were need it. This process requires research and development, process engineering, mechanical engineering, equipment test and (BOM) bill of material preparation. Correct material selection was required, from selecting metric or standard screws to specific bedplates and metal. Engineering change request and notices are generated to document design process. Adhere to geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), (ISO 900), (ANSI Y 14.5 1994), (ASME), (UL), and (CSA) guidelines throughout product development. As a mechanical designer, I am responsible for presenting team projects form, fit and function to upper management and project engineers.

BUILDER’S FIRST SOURCE – Jacksonville, Fl. (5/04 -11/07) Responsibilities: Design metal components for construction equipment while implementing government and company standards. Using PRO/E, Solidworks or AutoCAD, I design sheet metal fabrications, metal enclosures for use in architectural construction. This process requires research and development, prototype builds, equipment test, and bill of material preparation. Engineering Change Request and Notices are generated to document design process. PATENT EQUIPMENT, Jacksonville, Fl. (1/98 - 1/01) Responsibilities: Supervise the building of erection system scaffolding, boiler scaffolding and swing stages. This required the implementing of OSHA and company standards to meet government requirements. I was responsible also for the preparation of Bids that accurately estimate the personnel, materials and time required to complete projects. These bids were presented to management in the form of presentations (PowerPoint and Excel). Each bid includes detailed designs of how the scaffolding will be built to meet customer requests and company operational overhead.
