-Successfully engineered and improved the fatigue life of Ti 6242 by 6 fold via LSP.

-Estimated the safe temperature and stress range for service usage.

•Thermal Relaxation studies of Surface treated R-104 (Work done for GE at UC) Jul-Aug 2011

-Identified the safe temperature range for the use of LSP’d and Shot Peened R-104 samples.

•Residual stress analysis on 4 point bends Stainless Steel specimens (Work done for Turbomet at UC) Jul-Aug 2010

-Established service life behavior from specimens at various service times.

-Designed and fabricated a fixture to hold 4 point bend specimens on the diffractometer platform.

•Synthesis and characterization of co substituted hydroxyapatites (HA) for medical applications (NITT) 2008-2009

-Successfully synthesized co substituted HA with controlled particle size.

•Effect of Orientation on friction welding of Stainless steel and copper (IITM) May-Jun 2008

-Achieved the best processing parameters to obtain a good weld.
