Over 14 years of experience as a Production Specialist. Four years as a Production Operator. Currently a Lab Technician, for a total of 25 years at ATK/Thiokol Aerospace.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Currently registered with Tobacco and Firearms

• Able to obtain a Confidential/Secret security clearance

• Operate laboratory equipment

• Record observations and calculations of data

• Assist in special studies in analyzing the cause of results

• Perform technical procedures in one or more of the following areas: Production, Research and Development, Quality Control, Assurance and Compliance, and Environmental

• Remove and dispense of waste chemicals, solvents and acids, bases, oxidizers and flammables

• Inspect hazardous waste production and storage units while maintaining logs

• Research chemicals on MSDS and have good knowledge of chemical breakdowns

• Work to all applicable Federal, state, local and ATK regulations and requirements

• Work well in a team environment, 10-12 hours and rotating shifts

• Cast Space Shuttle igniters

• Minuteman aft closures and press outs

• Case/processed LUU-19 flares

• Processed 1.1/1.3 propellants including Minuteman, Orion, Delta, and D-5

• NASA certification on crane, forklift, and on all critical hardware moves

• Certified in the use of respirators

• Clean parts, materials, hardware, and tooling for processing

• Install all materials and components to blueprint specifications

• Served as safety spokesman for M-16, which includes procedures, safety, audits, casting, and overall operations

• Bond subassembly for D-5 1st, 2nd, and 3rd stage nozzle assembly; finalize tooling, components for shipping, including dry fitting, grit blasting, and bonding

• Work with various calibrating tools, raw materials, and adhesives

• Weigh up materials and mixing using Ross mixers

• Have experience with hand tools

• Arrange duties to accomplish the production line demands as well as the customers
