Head end Technician. Since 1999 – present. Maintaining and repairing Otn’s with vod and related equipment and systems. Install, maintain and repair vod, hsd, cdv and hub electronic systems and components. Install, maintain and test fiber optic transports and interconnections. Interpret, maintain and install network management. Interface with other departments regarding daily Video-On-Demand error reporting and database management. Coordinate with addressable operations staff regarding digital and analog addressability activity.

Special assignments include: a year working in Napa head end helping with two Otn launches and helping team build a vod platform; aligned the ALS north ring audio and helped build Rohnert Park new central head end; and optimized San Rafael head end for launch of all digital network.

System Maintenance Technician. Work on system repair referrals, leakage, system maintenance and outages. Pull standby duties. Lead person on weekends with supervisory duties.

Sweep Technician. Worked as a sweep technician in rebuild and was loaned to engineering department. Preformed field verification of new design maps making changes for redesign. Supervised 4 man walkout crew for plant upgrade. Verified placement of system equipment including amplifiers, power supplies, etc.

Constructor. Built and maintained aerial and underground cable systems. Worked on a dual system in Napa and continued a single system for Viacom in Marin.

Also ran digger truck placing anchors and make ready for strand and cable crews in Bakersfield and Malibu, California. Worked as over lash trunk Forman with a crew building strand and cable in the mission of San Francisco. Then moved to North Bay building Geyserville, over lash and line extensions in Windsor and the river..
