• Tracked tooling, using MS Excel: determined which vendor to use, which vendor had tool, due date, tooling component, cost, date of order, received date
• Interacted with vendors daily: resolved blueprint issues, acquired shipping intentions and prioritized work load
• Evaluated and recommended vendors for specific needs
• Ensured tooling availability to run current production schedule
• Worked with other departments: Engineering (4 employees) - looked over designs and determined common tooling needs, Sales (4 employees) - informed of tooling arrival for customer inquiries
• Recommended and implemented new policies to increase organization and productivity
• Created and maintained spreadsheets for accurate inventory tracking
• Participated in daily production and scheduling meetings
• Maintained historical data for all tooling
• Assembled tooling sets for both hydraulic presses and upset presses
