Estimator and Heavy Equipment Operator: Accurately interpreted detailed civil plans and specifications. Prepared estimates by calculating complete take-offs of offsite/onsite wet (Fire, Domestic Water, Sewer, Storm Drain) and dry (Power, Phone, Cable) underground utilities. Utilized a CAT 420D Backhoe, CAT 314C Tracked Excavator, and CAT 928G Loader to excavated, backfilled, and compacted trenches for wet/dry utilities. Excavated sub-grades and placed Type II. Placed and spread import to bring elevations to grade. Loaded export into dump trucks to be hauled offsite.

Underground Utilities and Earthwork Estimator: Accurately interpreted detailed civil plans and specifications. Prepared estimates by calculating complete take-offs of wet and dry underground utilities. Digitized existing and proposed contours, subgrade adjustments for pads, AC (streets and parking lots), curbs, cross gutters, valley gutters, etc. utilizing Paydirt Sitework 5.2.1 software. Analyzed and organized import and export earthwork quantities, equipment, man hours, etc.. Contacted and coordinated with ‘Before You Dig’ hotline to layout existing underground utility positions at project site. Scheduled all inspections including project final buy-off inspection. Coordinated with suppliers and sub-contractors to deliver their products to the jobsite on schedule.
