Project Name:

Motion Detection system using RGB values

The purpose of the project was to secure the database in IT companies & to protect the softwares. WEB camera is used to catch any one who tries to touch or misbehave with the protected object & would send an immediate SMS, ALARM , RECORDING or EMAIL to the designated system.

These are the some of the features of the project:

A simple algorithm for motion detection by a fixed camera compares the current image with a reference image and simply counts the number of different pixels. Since images will naturally differ due to factors such as varying lighting, camera flicker, and CCD dark currents, pre-processing is useful to reduce the number of false positive alarms.

The project is based on NET framework and Image Processing Libaries Technology & has the software of WindowsXP and environment of Matlab. It is also capable of supporting normal Hardware Configuration.
