Service Organization. In this position I have responsible for the following items:
• I investigate issues that have come through the escalation process. These
issues are the most technically difficult to diagnose and have remained
unresolved at service levels 1 and 2(our first two lines of support).
• I am responsible for attempting to recreate these issues in my lab, sometimes
obtaining problem equipment from the field for diagnosis,
• Gathering logs, dialing in to sites to retrieve data,
• Discerning between a software and hardware issues
• Providing the development team with step by step problem solving steps I
have attempted, and what the next step needs to be.
• In order to ensure our customers are up and running at all times, I am on call
24/7.
• I review technical documentation to ensure accuracy and understanding of
the installation of new software or patches.
• I report status daily on the escalations that I am managing, including updates
to Senior Management, Development, QA and the other field service
personnel.
Since a large part of this job is trying to recreate the issues, I spend the majority of my
time in the lab understanding the current issues and preventing possible future
complications. Complete knowledge of the Escalation Database is essential to the
success of the service group. I have self-taught knowledge of the following applications
which are necessary for my job in service engineer: Vantive, SCAN and Domino in order
to expand my knowledge and utilize all of the tools offered to me in order to achieve
ultimate and effective performance in the Service organization. I attend various daily
meetings to ensure existing and upcoming field issues are handled in a timely manner. I
am expected to meet the timeframe guidelines set for having issues at Level 3. I
consistently strive to meet these guidelines in order to meeting metrics objectives. I
have also established a secure relationship with the field specialists and field engineers.

Mammo CAD, CR 800/850, 900/950, 975, 500, 825, 850a/850b, Vet Kit Software,

Responsibilities included working directly with Merimedica for Mammo CAD in order to
launch the product to the field. Duties included using the Faxitron in order to create
exposures on phosphor screens as well as on film, which I then developed. Providing
QA Engineering Support for Security Patches and Software Patches released to the
field. This testing included following FDA and HIPAA compliance guidelines, creating
and updating test cases, creating and executing automation test scripts with Compuware
TestPartner, identifying root cause and inputting defects into ClearQuest Database,
providing input into technical documentation for release to the field. Extensive QA/CPE
testing included these procedures as well as diagnostic testing. I have also established
a secure relationship with the field specialists and field engineers. This is critical for
effective communication and resolution of issues.

included creating a test matrix, which included ensuring product requirements were

reporting of data and responsible for all project meetings related to this product. Worked
diligently on creating a suitable ratio of toner to additives in an attempt to achieve the
most functional toner to interact with wire modules on IGEN (Constellation). Precise and
accurate use of high precision instrumentation was essential to acquire quality data.
Also worked on different types of software interfaces with machine to ensure highest

Worked closely with key engineers and technicians on IGEN in Webster, New York.
Responsibilities included previous job description in addition to extensive testing with
regards to researching all aspects of failure modes. As a xerographic technician in the
materials group, thorough testing on all sub-systems to insure capability was necessary.
Assisted engineers in development and improvement of test plans and procedures.
Completed numerous material screening tests which enabled first release formulation of
three materials on schedule. Worked closely with software engineers while in the
beginning stages of development for the os including Docusp, and Scitex
(Creo).Troubleshooting, documenting unique observations while testing prototype
formulations and regular maintainence on machine during testing was essential to this
job. Constant feedback and direct communication is also required. Worked closely with
other technicians to understand the properties of these materials and strengthen
problem solving skills. Training others in this process was included in my responsibilities.
Tested prototype developer materials in complex Prototype color printers. Experimental
data are gathered using Labview Data Acquisition, Oscilloscope, strip chart recorder,
thermocouples, manometers, and other devices as required. Fixtures to measure
developer materials properties include TC/Tribo, Charge Spectrograph, and Gutman
Cell. Utilized strong interpersonal skills to maintain effective communication with
program engineers, while providing vital performance data. Exercised solid diagnostic
and problem solving skills to maintain the print engine and investigate new
toner/developer failure modes.

Responsibilities on the hotline included providing technical support to users in the areas
of all personal computer software and hardware; including networked printers, UNIX
workstations and Windows NT; all of which required excellent communication skills.
Troubleshooting computer breakdowns, software errors, and assisting the users how to
use the Xerox computer network. Setting up and maintaining various aspects of the
Xerox computer network and calling into SUN and Compaq to service workstations was
also the job responsibility.

computers, Reticon cameras, Spin Physics high-speed cameras, and nanoscanners.
