Summary of
Qualifications: Includes a comprehensive hands-on construction and construction management background, involving:
• Extensive experience with day-to-day commercial and residential construction operations, encompassing skills and responsibilities for project management, crew supervision, generating production reports and adhering to site/project plans and blueprints, in addition to hands-on design-build activities when required.
• Skills in both rough and finish carpentry, flooring, siding and roofing, concrete form foundation construction, excavating, landscaping and masonry, dry-wall and taping, wallpaper, grouting and tile work, as well as substantial electrical and wiring experience, work with conduit, residential meter installations, etc.
• Work with a broad scope of machinery, equipment and hand/power tools, in addition to router tables, stone saws, (7 wire) overhead cranes (2 - 50 ton capacities).
• In a supervisory role, managing up to 20 employees with responsibilities for task assignment, scheduling, new-hire orientation, training and performance evaluations.
• Experience with administrative functions, including billing and invoicing, inventory control and product/supplies ordering with direct authority for vendor selection and pricing negotiations.
• As a team player, providing substantial input into troubleshooting, problem solving and quality assurance initiatives.
Additional Skills
Experience: • Production of custom molding; experience with stick welding and oxyacetylene cutting; pipe threading; effective organizational, interpersonal and communications skills and fluent in American Sign Language (ASL).
