Description: Different projects were carried out like MSSB (US and EMEA), RDM, GSD. Agile is the methodology selected for this RMM platform in DELL that offers various business offerings to SMALL to LARGE business customers. More complicated interfaces linked with various applications to perform the critical DELL business.
Phase 1 MSSB (US and EMEA): The MSSB offering - An offering geared to small-to-medium sized businesses as a way to become their IT department. Its goal is to monitor the customer’s IT environment in a way where the customer will not have to, ultimately making all IT issues unrecognizable to the customer so that they can focus on the success of their business. The MSSB offering was created on the base-work of 5 different capabilities: Sales, Service Desk, Dell Badge Field Technical Services, Network Operations Center , and the Back Office. Each capability is responsible for the installation of SilverBack, monitoring the customer’s system, dispatching a field force unit to provide on-site customer repair, as well as providing the sales for any break/fix or upgraded necessary for the maintenance of the customer’s environment. Where SALES capability will be responsible for the US and EMEA customer’s orders to be created in the system and Back Office Capability is responsible for all the billing for the services that were offered for the customer.
MSSB US customers project uses the applications DOMS that was built in TANDEM (Mainframe) for the order generation, SIEBEL CRM 7.0 and maintaining the complete information of the customer and their services ordered and for the bill generation, OPAS (BMC Remedy) tool is used for all the Service Desk operations by the Service Desk agents, Network Operation Center agents and Field Force Agents. Dell Remote Monitoring (DRM) & Atrium (BMC Remedy) for maintaining the Asset information of the customers.
MSSB EMEA customers project uses the applications GO – GEDIS built in .Net and OMEGA built in ORACLE 11i for the order generation, SIEBEL CRM 7.0 and maintaining the complete information of the customer and their services ordered and for the bill generation, OPAS (BMC Remedy) tool is used for all the Service Desk operations by the Service Desk agents, Network Operation Center agents and Field Force Agents. Yahoo is one of the world’s best search engines freely available and very widely used. Yahoo toolbar incorporates all the features that Yahoo provided (Eg. Yahoo search, User sign in to mail, Yahoo messenger, etc from the toolbar) which enhances the user friendliness in exploring various features of Yahoo. Yahoo toolbar Team looks in the UI and functionality of the entire Yahoo Toolbar for seven countries: US, UK, Korea, Dutch, Taiwan, France and Hong Kong. Thus each issue of the toolbar was tested and also regression tests were done to make sure it is functioning optimally, effectively and efficiently. These test were performed for both the browsers IE and Firefox on two OS Windows XP and MAC 1.1

ERP management systems is an Enterprise Resource planning (ERP) based Software Application developed for ATLAS Coffee Company Ltd. Inventory Control Helps to track and manage the company’s inventory, purchasing, manufacturing, packing, shipping and other business related activities. Purchasing module is used for ordering, tracking and receiving both inventory items and assets. Purchasing utilities sets parameters for items regularly brought and creates purchase orders automatically. The inventory module adjusts and track all stored items whether they are assets or inventory items. It can perform recording locations information, inventory issue, and aging, lot/serial number tracking and maintaining multiple warehouses. Inventory use is measured by inventory adjustments, items issued and work orders. Shipping module lets you add, track, and maintain shipping orders, creates orders to direct product delivery to any number of customer locations. Work orders schedule and track internal request for work including preventative, emergency, and scheduled maintenance. Work orders are used for making an assembled item. Assets module let us maintain tangible assets and intangible assets such as licenses and calculate their depreciation. Reports module help summarize and interpret the data stored in your system. Each module (Purchasing, Shipping, etc.) provides a number of reports; it also provides “Today’s Checklist,” a summary of information about the day’s schedule.
