JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Direct supervision on all Golf course construction activities which include installation of automatic irrigation system.
• Having adequate experience in golf course development with extensive knowledge of project execution, estimation, planning and construction.
• Coordinate with designers/client and make recommendation to determine if (any) alteration on the plan is necessary.
• Responsible for staking of golf course feature which include greens, tees, bunkers, storm drainage line, cart path routing, irrigation system, subsoil drainage line (Greens, Fairways and Tees) and other related golf course features.
• Hands on experience in implementing earthworks, rough shaping works, fine shaping works, installation of Automatic irrigation system which includes complete wet well construction, storm drainage system, subsoil drainage system, cart path construction, green construction, tee construction, irrigation lake construction and other golf course related works.
• Prepares materials, equipments and manpower flow schedule as well as work schedule to delineate critical areas.
• Plan carefully the daily work considering factors that have bearing on the availability and use of manpower, equipment and materials.
• Inspect all parts of works to make sure quality workmanship and cost effective development.
• Ensures that all works are set up properly and that all safety precautions are being observed and also monitor manpower and equipment operation to ensure maximum utilization.
• Provides updates on progress or significant project issues to Client and coordinate/liaise to the client’s and or to its representative.
• Attend weekly coordination meeting between contractors and client/representatives to report the progress of the project and to discuss the significant matter that will affect the flow of operation.
• Hands on experience in Installation of Automatic Irrigation System which includes wet well construction and irrigation pump installation. (Rainbird/Toro System)
• Hands on experience in laying and installation of HDPE lining in irrigation lake and other hardscape pond feature.
• Provide golf course turf maintenance schedule and supervision on all on going maintenance works.
