In charge of the Celigo adherent cell Cytometery product line implemented extensive hardware retrofits and software configurations to accommodate the new hardware on the field units at UCSF, University of Miami, Kansas State medical center, Baylor Medical Research Center and all in house units. Supported all trade shows, demo and conventions.

Senior Global Product Support Engineer

Provided global product support for local and international microwave, plasma, and ozone systems installations .Led engineers in advanced systematic analytical approach and specialized problem solving techniques. Led a team of four engineers on a four week onsite installation at Seagate Technologies MN, HP ,DAS Devices northern Ca.and Applied Magnetics Southern Ca. Provided onsite product support for the Shamrock MR/GMR orbital planetary physical vapor deposition system and the Endeavor PVD cluster system. The shamrock is a state of the art deposition tool designed for sophisticated magneto resistive and giant magneto resistive processes.

• Hardware includes six S-guns with advance energy, RF, DC and AC power supply, ion mill, precision oriented magnetic field, multi planet turntable, substrate loading and aligning mechanisms.

• The Endeavor is a tool designed to solve the problem of thin-film based yield loss. It delivers clean, pure consistent thin-film capable of sub-micron geometries. Other responsibilities include customer training and product development

Senior Technical Support Engineer

Bio-Rad Laboratories May 1994 to August 1997

Specialized in instruments designed to measure quantitative glycosylated hemoglobin A1c family, such as the Diamat, MDMS and Diastat. Conducted paid technical training for end users on high performance liquid chromatography HPLC, Variant, Gel Doc 1000 and the Rapid Emergency Drug Profiling System Remedi which evaluates over 700 different drugs. Other related instrumentation includes UV, HB, detectors, and high-pressure low flow rate delivery pumps, step gradient controllers and auto samplers.

Final Test Engineer

Varian Thin Film Systems Division February 1994 to May 1994

Worked in a class 10000 / 1000 clean room environment working on the Varian M2000 in the final test and calibration stations. Assembled the instrument per customer specification. Responsible for assembling the wafer handling station, cassette module, transfer module, wafers handling chamber wafer orienter and process modules.

• Installed the high voltage power supply and the intelligent process computer IPC.Calibrated controllers, computer displays, gas delivery systems and power supply.

• Ran final test procedures i.e. rate of rise test, heater test, high vacuum, pump down test procedures.

• Laid metal onto the wafer prior to final acceptance and tested surface for uniformity.

Field Engineer

Optical Engineering June 1993 to October 1993

Built and tested the P4 laser automated engraving workstation and the MD-4 kW industrial CO2 laser. Process involved complex wiring, optics alignment, high voltage power calibration, and slab laser testing and workstation installation.

• Evaluated and helped re-engineer the P4 laser system to optimize performance, production and manufacturability.

• Provided pre and post installation/delivery service, and factory technician training for new customers.

• Led the 4 week the laser system installation in Croydon, England.
