Responsibilities: Monitored employees at the Network Operations Center who were responsible for gathering traffic information for the St. Louis Metro Area and making sure all traffic incidents were correctly entered into the company's web based programs which supplied real-time traffic to local and national customers.

Major national clients included Microsoft, Garmin, Sirius XM Satellite Radio, Verizon and all onboard navigational systems on most major automobile brands. Major local clients included KTVI, KMOV, KSDK, local NPR radio station KWMU on UMSL’s campus, and Emmis Radio.

Managed full range of human resources functions including interviewing, hiring, training, retention, promotions and terminations.

Provided technical support for local TV and radio station clients with hardware and software traffic computer issues.

Accomplishments: Expanded Nokia traffic to create a greater national real-time traffic presence by opening a new Network Operations Center in Kansas City.

Streamlined the creation of a traffic workstation desk to collect real-time traffic at the Missouri Department of Transportation’s GatewayGuide Center in Town & Country MO.

Created weekly work schedules for full-time, part-time, temporary, and contracted employees to cover shifts 4am to 8pm M-F and managed payroll and controlled office expenses.

Implemented schedules during a three year hire freeze where all shifts were covered and no overtime was accrued.

Spearheaded the move of the St. Louis Traffic Network Operations Center from Westport Plaza to its new South County location.

Created appropriate back-up procedures with TV stations when the traffic on-air talent could not show up to work.

Documented procedures for all emergencies including weather issues and utility failures.

Pony Express, St. Louis, MO 1999 - 2001

Responsibilities: Supervised over 30 drivers and managed over 30 routes.

Shaped point of contact for all clients issues including billing and service concerns.

Interviewed, hired, and trained all employees.

Accomplishments: Organized the office move and operational duty shift from the FTS Express warehouse to Pony Express when Pony Express bought FTS Express in 1999.

Expanded the St. Louis Pony Express Hub with employees, vehicles, warehouse space so that we could handle the extra business attained by the purchasing of FTS Express.
