Project Undertaken:

Final Year Project: “High Voltage Direct Current Transmission”

The aim of the project is to produce D.C. supply for Transmission between cross countries in place of A.C. supply. D.C. supply has minimum magnetic loss & corona loss compared to A.C. supply. D.C. supply has less initial installation cost because it is used 1-phase instead of 3-phase etc. Project comprises of rectifier which converts A.C. into D.C. supply. This D.C. supply again pass through the wooden pole, under water (applicable between cross countries also) to Amplifier which converts D.C. to A.C. This A.C. is applicable to different electrical appliances as per requirement.

Industrial Training:

Training in DANKE POWER Industries. Learned about the manufacturing & testing process of TRANSFORMER & ISOLATER. Testing process include Breakdown Voltage Test, Partial Ratio Test, Resistance Test, Magger Test.
