Corporate Manager, Structural Engineering

• In charge of civil/structural technical issues for 14 cement plants, all major aggregate plants and terminals including structural audits, damage repair projects and process or environmental improvement projects. Develop initial structural planning for all future new projects

• Coordinated civil/structural related work with outside engineers, vendors and internal team for the Balcones plant new 3850 STPD cement production line expansion project located in New Braunfels, TX

• Develop and update corporate civil/structural standards and specifications

• Inspected FEC aggregate plant and recommended immediate structural repairs to correct corrosion problem. Studied existing Alico primary crusher foundation and developed necessary repairs to correct the problems resulting from an inadequate foundation design

• Led the soils study for the future Greenfield cement plant project in Arizona. Worked closely with outside geotechnical engineers, internal mining group and outside aerial mapping company to develop necessary topographic plans
