Description:

The EPM system supports the Bank’s objective of producing Organizational Profitability reporting. The system is comprised of an ETL Layer, PeopleSoft EPM Financial Analytics system and supports a Web-based Reporting Delivery system. Using the PeopleSoft EPM Financial Analytics system, financial data is complied from various systems in the bank and using the Fund Transfer Pricing (FTP) module transfer price is calculated at the instrument level, thereby deriving a more exact cost of it’s banking activities. Use of the Allocations within EPM further enables the Bank to allocate costs based on banking activities, thereby shifting the cost view of the bank to an ‘Activity based’ view of the Bank’s profitability on an enterprise wide basis.

There are many phases in the project including Production Support, Maintenance,Enhancements and Customizations with tight implementation timeline and complex integration points.

As a Team Lead and Application Analyst I am responsible for Requirements Analysis, Technical design, development, unit testing of enhancement requests and implementation of emergency quick fixes for Production related issues. Responsible for providing support to the QA team. Responsible for reviewing others work. Making Recovery Plan and leading from the front during major incidents. Conducting Post Incident Reviews.
