Developed enhancements to existing Securities applications. Enhancements included on-line functionality to create new security’s across different business entity’s. Developed various custom Security reports and provided day to support. SYNON, RPG ILE, CL and RPG SQL was used to develop and maintain these systems.

Designed and Developed enhancements to an existing Sales Allowance application.
These enhancements included functions to process various Financial Interface files for rate and residual contracts. This application also included processes to create interface files for SAP and Siebel applications. Designed and developed various on-line inquiry/maintenance functions and month-end reports.
Developed enhancements to a Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales application which allowed for reversals and captured sales counts for Certified and Non Certified vehicles. SYNON and RPG ILE were used to develop and maintain these systems. My responsibility’s also included any daily production system support.

Developed enhancements to existing Fixed Income Securities System. Enhancements included online maintenance and inquiry to allow traders to track security trades by customer and security symbol across multiple business units. Designed and developed a number of ad hoc reports. Also developed file format version of the reports for FTP purpose using SYNON and RPG.
March 2000 March 2005 Senior Developer / Analyst AON Warranty Group
Developed enhancements and supported a Claims system. This system allows
the adjuster to display / maintain vehicle claims and customer information.
Also supported production Reinsurance applications that allowed user to cede
agreements to different reinsurance companies. I was responsible in supporting
user’s in both Canada and the United States. These systems where developed
and maintained using SYNON and RPG/400 ILE.
March 1999 January 2000 Consultant National Car Rental
Maintain existing production applications that included Accounts Payable,
Central Billing, General Ledger and custom car rental applications. My role
was that of a designer / developer using SYNON , RPG/400 and RPG ILE.

Designed and developed Statistical Interface application, which produced
monthly Statistical and Accounting transactions used by various month
end systems. Developed with SYNON and RPG.
August 1996 March 1997 Consultant Ontario Ministry of Education
Designed and developed enhancement to existing education enrollment system
using SYNON. Provided support of existing production systems and impact
analysis for Year 2000 conversion.

Member of a team responsible for developing a policy administration system.
This interactive application included an internal rating system is knowledge
based and gives the insurance broker underwriting, quoting, and binding
capabilities at point of sale. This system was developed entirely using SYNON.

Developed a Payments Financial System, that controlled bank account transfers
and foreign investment. Provided support to existing production applications.
These systems where developed and maintained using SYNON and RPG.

Designed and developed Project Tracking System using SYNON and RPG III
This system provided on line functions to capture actual and committed
spending for projects.

As programmer / analyst, I was responsible for maintaining and enhancing
production applications using SYNON and RPG III. Developed a Customer
Service product tracking system. My role also included Database Administrator.
