Their HR system for US geography and 6 European business units is currently on SAP ECC6.0. Responsibility of TCS is to support their US Payroll, Benefits PA, OM, Time management and T&E on SAP ECC 6.0 and to carry out the global SAP roll out for Nielsen.

Studying the current process and suggesting the process improvements based on the SAP HR best practises. Streamlining and standardization of the global process and also defining regional specific or country specific process. Use most of the business process in the ESS / MSS to help the business owners to automate the processes.

Project TCS UK Payroll

Period April 2007 – August 2007

Description TCS UK is a part of Tata Consultancy Services and has about 500 employees working local in UK. This project involves implementation of payroll for TCS UK on the TCS SAP Payroll global template platform. The designed templates have to be configured on SAP Platform and make it available for the customers. Project involves template configuration on SAP platform and enhancing the SAP client for TCS UK.

Role Team member of the project in the implementation phase and was leading the team after go-live. Main responsibility was to understand the TCS UK Payroll business process, blueprinting the requirements, configure Pensions, SxP / OxP, National Insurance, Court orders and UK taxes and test.

Project Ultimatix – TCS US Payroll Maintenance

Description Tata Consultancy Services Limited is leading IT consulting company in US has more than 15,000 employees. This project involves implementation and maintenance of US payroll on SAP ECC 4.7 (later to ECC 6.0) and data migration from the legacy system, building up interface systems for communication between different systems in TCS.

Role Lead for the TCS SAP US Payroll Module after go-live and responsibility was requirements gathering, performing business and technical analysis, performing feasibility analysis and providing best solution by mapping client requirements to SAP functionalities implementing the change requests. Configuring and customizing info types, schema and building functional specifications. Performing support activities like new change requests, Support pack testing, writing functional specs and interacting with Abapers, handling issues, analyzing and solving them.
