Position: Welder

Weld metal parts or components together, using brazing, gas, or arc welding equipment.

Repair broken or cracked parts, fill holes and increase size of metal parts, using welding equipment

Clean or degrease parts, using wire brush, portable grinder, or chemical bath

Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead position.

Preheat work piece, using hand torch or heating furnace.

Performed related duties as required, and have the ability to diagnose problems and determine appropriate action.

MIDDLE ATLAS WELDING CORP: Brooklyn, NY 2005 to 2007

Position: Welder apprentice

Set up and operated acetylene or electric arc welding equipment to heat and shape metals, lays out, cut and fitted materials for welds.
