Responsible for planning, supervising, managing and leading activities of employees assigned to the Quality Program Division. Continuously evaluating Quality Assurance requirements, material acquisition, and ensuring product conforms to the full provisions identified in the Statement of Work, contract supply and other related requirements. I provide the overall leadership and supervision for American and Saudi National Quality Assurance Inspectors. I possess a high degree of technical competence and broad knowledge regarding a range of complex quality assurance commodities, procured items, critical characteristics and the skill to identify their system impact, quality assurance functions, production techniques, and industrial processes in accordance with applicable DoD policies and regulations to insure effective control of product quality.
Review contract and associated technical documentation to clarify / interpret government quality assurance requirements, specifications and provisions. Continuously and aggressively work with team members and other Integrated Process Teams (IPT) to identify, develop and advise leadership and upper management on Risk Management Plans (RMP) that require further coordination and / or corrective action. Ensures preventative and corrective actions identified through Risk Management Planning is flowed down to the proper levels and incorporated into work instructions on floor level and support processes.
Independently plan and carry out assignments, modifying the approach to technical abnormalities based on the particular quality assurance problems involved. Areas in which technical support is provided include interpretation and application of contract and specification provisions, production methods and processes required to assure product quality, use of special processes, and situations where guidelines or precedent material is lacking or inapplicable. Perform technical evaluations, review regulations, interpret requirements and issue guidance to maintenance personnel through appropriate supervisory channels. As required, provide technical consultation support on controversial material review board actions or requests for waivers or deviations.
Developed policy and procedural guides which dictate the scope of the quality assurance program covering the general aspects of broad procedural actions as related to AS9100 Standards, ISO 9001:2000 International Standards, DCMA Instruction 8210.1, and Ground and Flight Risk Clause. Developed new Non-Conformance procedures related to Risk Management and other Program Critical events. Assigned as Contracting Requesting Official (CRO), participate in preflight and post flight aircrew briefings and ensures aircraft flight performance is conducted in accordance with applicable DoD policies and regulations. Developed and implemented Alsalam Aircraft Company-wide FOD and Tool Control Program Manual to standardized and streamline procedures throughout the company. Implemented performance based management evaluation / surveillance plan that identifies and analyzes contract performance. Determine key process measurement points and the need for product audits. Perform initial and ongoing process analysis and product acceptance inspections.
Continuously implementing process improvement techniques through LEAN practices to provide surveillance over technical and administrative requirements in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations and Department of Defense Directives. Spearheaded initiative to organize, assemble and lead Aviation Safety Council for Foreign Military Sales Division. Utilize sound business judgment to recommend Statement of Work contract changes, decisions based on broad knowledge of federal and defense regulatory and statutory provisions, acquisition directives, industry practices, and processes peculiar to DOD quality assurance requirements.
Program’s principle representative for quality matters directly concerned with the quality aspects of aircraft delivered to foreign government. Maintain contact with high level military and civilian representatives of both US and foreign governments on an as required basis to effectively coordinate and communicate quality assurance concerns and resolve the problems in question.
Perform regular visits to production shops and aircraft to verify completion of required work or witness test of repaired equipment or systems. These duties involve frequent walking, bending and stooping; prolonged standing; or climbing in and around aircraft and aircraft fuel cells.
Knowledgeable in the application of special safety devices and equipment, and strict adherence to work procedures and safety precautions to avoid hazards, such as those pertaining to work in a known toxic environment, and recommend work stoppage in hazardous situations.

Performs quality verification inspections, FOD and Tool Control audits, material acquisition inspections, technical support and other program implementation for complex system and manufacturing processes. Review, edit and write locally developed technical publications, maintenance operating instructions, and Quality Manual / Quality Procedures. Conduct audits of product and processes for conformance to specifications and to detect processing and technical documentation deficiencies and recommend corrective action, including establishment of acceptable quality levels. Investigate customer complaints and deficiency reports and provided identification of causes to appropriate activities. S-3B Technical Representative Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing electrical systems assistance and training to all COMSEACONWING Squadrons. Primary systems included electrical power and distribution, mechanical flight control systems, automatic flight control systems, landing gear and braking systems, navigation systems, interior and exterior lighting, fuel quantity systems, air refueling systems, environmental control systems, and other wiring related aircraft systems. Key participant for the NAVAIR Air Refueling System Action Team (ARSAT) Integrated Product Team (IPT) . Last duty assignment: Maintenance Control Supervisor coordinating daily scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on 19 S-3B aircraft, 250 maintenance personnel, 13 Aerial Refueling Stores and over 100 pieces of ground support equipment.
