• Reduced the need for data entry personnel by writing unix shell and SQL scripts to download daily shipping data, e.g., Bill of Lading, Serial Numbers, etc. from the Sun mainframe system into Sun Service Sybase databases.

• Developed shell and SQL scripts for ad hoc and production Sun Service internal management reports.

• Planned configured, deployed and provided ongoing maintenance of standalone report servers utilizing Sybase database servers and then, wrote shell scripts to upload the data from the production servers into these servers on a daily basis.

• Lead developer for the initial Customer Quality Index reports for Sun Service, Americas.

• Reduced the length of time for updates to take effect and the number of people necessary to process these requests by developing a website for internal and external customers to directly update or query the Sun Service contracts administration database.

• Planned, configured, deployed and maintained the group's web site using Apache web servers and perl cgi scripts.
