• Worked in partnership with a team to make a detailed geologic map of the Dreamy Draw Phoenix Mountains (Phoenix, Arizona) area. Mapping was performed on field-computers (tablets) as well as on paper/air photos. A total station was used to survey the topography of the mapped area. ArcMap was used to enter point observations (e.g., strike and dip of foliation) and geologic contacts.

• Conducted a research assignment with graduate students in Carrizo Plain, California to see if there is strong evidence for a current kinematic model of the Dragon’s Back location along the San Andreas Fault. ArcMap and digital airphotos were utilized for research of the Dragon’s Back location. Surveyed fluvial channel gradient and ridge slopes with a digital clinometer.
