I would like to become a member of a creative team of professionals. Laurus College- Web Design Certification Completed Summer 2009 – Fall 2010

National Accredited, San Luis Obispo, California

Studies focused on course familiarization of all aspects of Web Design, both client and server side skills and techniques. I had an emphasized on the Digital Design and Authoring facets; from inception layouts and design completion to coding structure and UI development. The school focused on exposure to all and the cultivation of what we gravitated towards utilizing a number of up to date software programs and languages.

Cuesta College- AA Diploma Fall 2002 – Spring 2004

National Accredited, San Luis Obispo, California

Completed all course requirements for an Associate in Arts with an emphasis toward my overall major of English. The course covered a broad spectrum and even though much of it was review for me it gave a good environment to polish skills I had not used for a time. It also gave be great familiarity with the task of jumping through many “bureaucratic hoops” to achieve my goals.

Web Design Instructor, San Luis Obispo, California

Charged with the task of supporting and running any and all aspects of the Web Design Program. Specifics include: Updating the syllabus, prepping material for lesson plans, teaching a wide variety of classes, manage interoffice workings, maintaining school’s website via CMS, constantly staying up to date with new techniques to teach, grading exams/homework, development of new course content, and a multitude of other responsibilities within the school’s inner workings.

Charged with creating high quality original images with strict deadlines.

Specifics include: Maintaining contact with the author and publishers to make sure I am representing the book properly (e.g. tone, style, story, etc.). Be able to change creative directions on a dime when needed and employ those changes in a manner that benefits all parties involved. Make sure illustrations are of the best quality possible and formats are correct to move onto the next phase.
