President/ Owner
Owner and operator of Construction Company with exposure in commercial, retail commercial, hospitality and residential remodels, most notable in 2005 started a 2 ½ year project in the complete remodel of Bonaventure Resort later to become the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Weston, Florida. Our jobs included the remodel of all convention halls, executive meeting rooms, restaurants and bars, new high end steak house, executive offices, kitchens and assisted The Tower Group in the construction of a 40 thousand square foot Red Door Spa and remodel of 560 quest rooms and suites. My daily job description was but not limited to the following;
• Oversee, supervise and manage 2 foreman and up to 50 full time construction personnel.
• Negotiate new contracts with the owner representative, prepare and implement contract.
• Contact and negotiate contracts with different vendors and trades the diverse job requirements to for fill all obligations with he client
• Establish schedules and procedures for and budgets for all work load
• Create and maintain integrity with associated contractors vendors and client
• Coordinated all on going work load efforts with the Owner Representative and his subordinates
• Personally supervised and made sure that all was being done to specifications and that all quality control standards were in place

2001 – 2003 Collective Construction Inc Sunrise, Florida
Project Manager/Superintendent
Worked for a General Contractor on various hospitality and commercial jobs, was in charge of the day to day supervision of a large high end oriental cuisine restaurant in the Marriott Hotel in downtown Miami and the reconstruction of the motor lobby and main entrance to the hotel. The hotel project lasted over a year and later ran various office projects. Job description included;
• Supervision of all trades to compliment a 28,000 square foot restaurant, a fully operational turn key project from start to finish.
• Coordinated all efforts for permitting, job planning work efforts and trade coordination, job programming weekly safety meetings, maintaining OSHA regulations.
• Assured that all trades were in line with their respective contract obligations and all was being built as per specifications.
• Prepared daily reports on all work efforts.
• Responsible for all vendor relations and for purchasing of materials and services.
• Assured that all contractual obligations, quality control and punch list were completed by sub-contractors.
• Served as a liaison between upper hotel management and my office.
• Closed out all projects with local building departments assuring a certificate of occupancy.
1998 – 2001 Tiger Construction Corporation Plantation, Florida
Project Manager
Full accountability of all turn- key Construction operations stemming from office build outs, medical offices, corporate offices and 40 to 60 thousand square foot Call Centers for Precision Response Corporation based in Miami, Florida. Job cost range from $200,000.00 to 5.5 million dollars. My responsibilities included but not limited to;
• Preparation of all construction documents and procurement of all sub-contractors for the electrical, plumbing, HVAC, low voltage, drywall and all related trades.
• In charge of all pre-construction meetings and implementation of all standards related to each project.
• Maintained all sub-contractor contracts and met with each one before the commencement of each job to assure the integrity and clarity of the work involved in their contract.
• Coordinated all purchasing efforts with the main office.
• Supervised jobsite with anywhere from 15 to 100 construction workers with their respective foreman.
• Help weekly safety and progress meetings with each sub-contractor.
• Attended weekly progress meetings with client and architect.
• Supervised and assured we maintained a safe jobsite to meet with OSHA regulations
• Received all incoming materials and equipment and warehoused in the designated areas.
• Coordinated all revisions with architects and engineers and processed them thru the building department. Also negotiated any change orders with the affected sub-contractors and approved all changes.
• Prepared punch list with each sub-contractor and assured completion.
• Supervised the installation of self contained power generators for the Call Centers to power up to 60,000 square feet of facility.
• Closed out each project with local building departments to receive C of O.
1995 – 1997 Legacy Construction Corporation Wilmington, Delaware
Project Superintendent
Responsible for the daily activities in the development and construction of turn-key commercial retail establishments in high end malls throughout the east coast and Caribbean. Some of the most notable clients were Electronics boutique, Johnston Murphy shoes, Duty Free International, Office Max and the Body Shop. Job description Included;
• Initial coordination and meetings with all sub-contractors and trades.
• Contacting local sub-contractors and negotiating cost of work and scope.
• Coordinated and put in place all required services, garbage removal, storage, and security and mall requirements to assure smooth operations.
• Assured that all work performed maintained the integrity of the construction plans and documents. That it also was performed with the highest quality control.
• Handled any variances and changes that came up during the complete construction process with the architects, building departments and or clients.
• Responsible for the permitting procedures, inspections and implementation of local building codes.
• Coordinated weekly safety and progress meetings.
• Coordinated all construction efforts with the client management team the architect and my main office.
• Prepared daily reports and progress logs for my office and the client.
• Was responsible for closing out each project and supplying my office and client with certificate of occupancy.

Our construction clients were mostly locally based retail establishments with the exception that we had started a working relationship with my next employer and sub-contracted the turn-key construction of all the Electronics Boutiques, Duty Free Stores and the Body Shop.
