I am currently seeking an entry level position with an opportunity for growth and advancement. I have several years of experience in supervisory roles as well as training and certification. I have performed forklift operation, training and certification as well as closed containment training. I am also familiar with lock-out/tag-out procedures and first aid. I am proficient with word processing and e-mail communications with supervisors above me and with my co-workers as well. I am a quick learner and am not opposed to learning new skills for advancement and/or job placement.

Experience

PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR, SCHRADER ELECTRONICS, SPRINGFIELD, TN APRIL 2007-PRESENT

I am responsible for training employees on proper procedures for machine operation and safety procedures. I also do nightly shift paperwork that details quotas met and parts scrapped as well as any mechanical problems and resolutions to any down time due to mechanical issues. I maintain payroll for all of the employees on my shift. I also perform basic disciplinary measures such as verbal warnings and if needed, write up procedures. I also make sure that employees follow the safety procedures set in place by our company and ensure that things are in order for the shift that follows mine.

PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR, SUMMIT POLYMERS, STURGIS, MI SEPTEMBER 2003-APRIL 2007

I oversaw assembly line and trained operators on proper procedures for assembly line and other basic duties that had to be performed. I also observed and ensured that safety procedures were being followed. I did nightly paperwork that outlined what quotas were met and how much scrap and bad parts we had for the night. I also accounted for any downtime that we had due to mechanical operation or lack of parts. I made sure employees followed their training procedures for operation and safety.

I was responsible for training employees on operation of fork trucks and standing fork lifts and scissor lifts. I also trained in operation of the dryers that were used as well as cold containment training. I ensured that job aid diagrams and procedures were up to date as well as training procedures. I created new training procedures and activities as well as made sure that our safety regulations were being followed.
