I have overseen projects from building inspections, punch list owner training, A/E walk through, close-out and C.O’s. Developed scope of work for contracts, schedules and involved with the RFI process and assist with Quality Control. A main function with in all the projects has been Orientations and Safety Inspections. Translations (to Spanish) of all documents, videos and presentations as well as on site conversations.
Interfaced with owners, architects, subcontractors and venders as well as maintain client relationships. Assists with contract negotiations, budgeting, purchasing and the review of contract documents.

University of Texas at Tyler Engineering, Sciences and Technology Building, Tyler, TX
$29.4 million project to construct two, four-story buildings. The 92,261-SF science building features laboratories, classrooms, administrative and faculty offices, mechanical rooms and general support spaces. The second building, a 64,248-SF, new central plant contains two chillers with expansion space for an additional chiller. A Sky Bridge was completed to connect the two buildings. University of Texas Health Science Center-San Antonio Regional Academic Health Center, Harlingen, TX
$18.2 million, 90,168-SF major medical teaching facility serving as the hub for healthcare education in the Rio Grande Valley. Skanska provided overall master planning for the 26-acre campus and thermal energy analysis for development of the new thermal energy plant. Role: Assistant Superintendent /Safety Inspector
University of Texas at Brownsville Business and Education Complex, Brownsville, TX
$21.6 million, 133,712-SF, new academic facility housing lecture theaters, classrooms and office space. A thermal energy plant providing chillers and cooling towers for the complex is included as part of the project. Role: Assistant Superintendent /Safety Inspector
Texas Southmost College Student Union Building, Brownsville, TX
$8.9 million, 45,000-SF new student union. The building acts as a connector between the Life Health Science Building and the main campus. The new building houses a variety of student activities, organizations and government offices. It features meeting rooms, commons area, game room, convenience store and multipurpose room for banquets and auditorium events. Role: Assistant Superintendent
South Texas College Communication Arts Building, McAllen, TX
$6.3 million, 41,650-SF, new two-story Theater. The building housing a performance auditorium, black box theater, sound and lighting booths, ticket and concession counters, two conference rooms, multiple classrooms, administrative offices and a catering kitchen. La Joya ISD Palmview High School, Mission, TX
$71 million, 370,000-SF, high school campus and central plant. This project consisted of two phases. Phase one included four new buildings totaling 340,000-SF and a central plant. The main building included: administrative offices, science labs, classrooms and a library and the other three buildings included a caretorium, theatrical department, band/orchestra, choir, mariachi practice studio, art and vocational departments, gymnasium and athletic training facilities. The second phase of this project added a 30,000-SF science classroom wing and 40-acres of athletic fields including football, soccer, baseball and softball fields, track and field specialties, concession areas, grandstands/frame bleachers and associated infrastructure. New 315,000 SF high school that includes classrooms, lecture halls, Library Science labs, administrative offices, competition and practice gymnasiums, locker rooms, kitchen/cafeteria and a chilled water cooling system for the entire building. $70 million, 181,200-SF design-build research facility for the Army, Navy and Air Force which will consist of specialized directed energy laboratory spaces including laser research labs, anechoic chambers, imaging lab, radiation lab, biology labs, microbiology labs, biochemistry and bimolecular labs, tissue culture labs, proteomic lab, administrative and support areas and mechanical and electrical support services.
