• Assisted in the Architecture of an Enterprise Distributed Tape backup system for LAN/WAN environments. Implemented, and managed an Enterprise Backup Environment using Syncsort, Backup Express for data storage management featured with Robotic Libraries.

• Developed a strategic approach to file server data backups for the US Airways enterprise network, which consisted of approximately 500 servers. The US Airways enterprise consists of 3 major campus sites, Pittsburgh, Pa., Crystal City, Washington, Winston Salem, North Carolina and all reservations and airport sites. Installed a library for archival retention of data at the Tulsa, Oklahoma site.

• Installed server hardware to the 3 major and archival retention site based on network capabilities to eliminate LAN/WAN bandwidth issues.

• Performed cabling and hardware setup for servers and robotic libraries to provide documentation for backup hardware install process.

• Procured and installed the hardware and software required for server backup for all sites and facilities.

• Setup robotic libraries and clients supporting the Tape Library System.
