Project Manager
IBM Madrid, Spain, Istanbul, Turkey Summer 2008
Spearhead and ensure successful project completion of AK Bank Data Center according to TIA-942 standards. Ensure cutting edge design of Electrical-Transformers, UPS, generators, electrical panels and others including Mechanical (Air Cooling, Fire Extinguishing, Security, Surveillance) Systems. Observe accuracy in preparation of the design criteria for the data center. Streamline functions for IBM Server, SAN and Tape Storage machines, HP Superdome and Sun server machines by providing technical guidance.

Hardware Design Engineer

Beko is the third largest household appliances company and currently the largest refrigeration brand in Europe with products awarded “Which” best buy on numerous occasions. The company has a 2007 turnover of 3.1 billion Euro. Tasks include designing a driver circuit for LVDT load sensor. Conducted prototype and test of the designed circuit.
Key Accomplishments:
- Reduced the cost of a load sensing circuit used in washing machines by $ 0.77 cent, by modifying existing design. This initiative generated significant amount of savings for the company.
- Seamlessly completed a microcontroller based load sensor for Arcelik-Beko washing machines.
- Received a letter of recommendation after proving the effectiveness of the design; this was done by building a proprietary prototype.
Software Design Engineer
Philips, Istanbul Summer 2007
R&D Center of Philips in Istanbul, develops technologies for Philips IP TVs and multimedia systems. Utilized in depth technical knowledge to efficiently complete Microsoft’s UpnP Technology project.
Key Accomplishments:
- Implemented new control point software from scratch in a period of three months.
- Instrumental in managing the implementation of a media streamer using gstreamer
- Successfully implemented wireless mobile UpnP Control Point and UpnP Media Server for Phillips and Vestel Televisions.
- Ensured efficient embedding of code into a Freescale MX21 ARM processor and testing of code under embedded Linux.
